Our Story
We founded LSW Clinic with a simple belief: healthcare works better when providers work together. Too often, patients navigate fragmented care — seeing specialists who never communicate, following disconnected treatment plans, and feeling lost in the process.
Our integrated model brings chiropractic, physical therapy, functional medicine, and advanced medical treatments under one roof, coordinated by a single expert team. Every treatment in your plan complements the others. Every provider knows your full story.
The result? Faster recovery, better outcomes, and a premium healthcare experience that puts you at the center of everything we do.
Our Team
Clinic Director
Dr. Brett Zemba was enrolled in college as an electrical engineering student, but found himself going through the motions, without any passion or excitement for his future in the field. Completely uninspired by differential equations and calculus, he took a semester off to figure out his next move. During that time, he visited his uncle in Louisville, a practicing chiropractor who specialized in Atlas Orthogonal.
Dr. Brett began to learn the ins and outs of his uncle’s clinic and was quickly inspired by not only the happiness quotient of the patients, but even more so that of his uncle. It wasn’t just a job for him. He was incredibly passionate about what he did and was excited to show up at work each day and make a difference.
Dr. Brett was also heavily influenced by a lecture he attended by the renowned Dr. Reggie Gold, who outlined the true intent and purposes of chiropractic care. Once Dr. Brett received this information, he knew that from that day on he would be heavily involved in chiropractic for life.
Dr. Brett is an active member of the Louisville community, involved with the Dare to Care local food bank and the KAC chiropractic association in the state. In his free time he enjoys spending time with family and friends, coaching his son’s baseball team, and participating in his local Billiards league.

Chiropractor
Dr. David joins the Louisville Spine and Wellness team with more than 25 years of experience helping patients express their true health, naturally.
Dr. David always knew he wanted to work in healthcare in some capacity, and with his father being a chiropractor, the profession was a natural fit for him. He credits his dad to being the biggest influence in his life. Dr. David attended the renowned Life Chiropractic college where he obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic. After graduating, Dr. David went into practice with his father for four years and then went off on his own. Later, he reconnected with Dr. Brett and the two joined forces—the rest, as they say, is history!
Ever since, he’s been crafting custom care plans for patients of all walks of life.
Chiropractor
Dr. Paul Zemba is a dedicated chiropractor with a passion for helping patients achieve optimal health through precise, non-invasive care. A proud graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic, where he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in June 2024, Dr. Zemba has specialized in Atlas Orthogonal chiropractic care. With a year of hands-on experience in this technique, he focuses on correcting misalignments of the Atlas vertebra to improve neurological function and alleviate pain.
In August 2024, Dr. Zemba brought his expertise to Louisville, where he has been serving the community with a patient-centered approach. He is committed to providing personalized care that addresses each patient’s unique needs, helping them to achieve a higher quality of life through improved spinal health and overall well-being.
Physical therapist
Nishan Harichandran grew up in Michigan and lived a very active childhood. Between various sports and classical music training, he received early and frequent exposure to strategies for training healthy movement patterns into muscle memory.
Due to a number of factors, Nishan developed scoliosis and chronic pain over time. He sought to understand how this could have happened given his healthy childhood, and pursued the field of physical therapy to learn more and fulfill his purpose of helping others. After receiving his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Central Michigan University, he began his career in Louisville in 2018.
Having lived in chronic pain himself, Nishan understands the impact pain can have on mental health, life satisfaction, and general functional abilities. He strives to empower his patients with knowledge and strategies that can help them return to healthy and active lifestyles. He helps them achieve this through holistic approaches of patient education and treatment that prioritize the foundations of our health to heal current problems and prevent new ones.
Nishan lives in Louisville with his two cats, Sammy and Logan. His professional experience has enabled him to return to an active lifestyle. He enjoys hiking in nature, traveling, disc golf, playing musical instruments, reading, and exploring various cuisines. In 2024, after realizing the importance of Atlas alignment, Nishan began seeing Dr. Brett Zemba for treatment of his own condition. Through this, a vision developed to supplement Dr. Zemba’s Atlas orthogonal chiropractic approach with the foundational retraining Nishan can offer as a physical therapist.

Functional Medicine Specialist
When Ashley was just 18 years old, she was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s, a thyroid disease that can present lifelong symptoms and problems that aren’t too pleasant. After meeting with medical doctors and developing a treatment plan that included prescription medication, she felt that there might be more she could do to feel better.
This began her lifelong journey to health and wellness, which kicked off with an over 20-year career as a Registered Nurse. As a nurse, she’s had the opportunity to help people get better, overcome ailments, and watch as they turn their life around-something that’s been extremely rewarding.
About ten years ago, Ashley discovered functional medicine, and the concept immediately clicked with her. She obtained her Certification from Functional Medicine University and has been helping patients get to the root cause of their problems ever since.
In the practice, she enjoys working side by side with the chiropractic team to offer an in-depth look that combines structure and metabolic for the best possible outcomes.
